Liberty County is comprised of eight distinct towns – Allenhurst, Flemington, Gum Branch, Hinesville, Midway, Riceboro, Sunbury and Walthourville.  Hinesville, the county seat, is one of the fastest growing cities in southeast Georgia.  Called a “trendsetter city by Georgia Trend Magazine, Hinesville is a desirable as a place to live, work and play.  It’s a city full of friendly people, and because of its location near Fort Stewart, it is culturally and ethnically diverse.  Due to growth of Fort Stewart, Liberty County is in the process of an incredible transformation and is fast becoming a “big, little town.”  There are several real estate developments and communities offering fine living at affordable prices.  We also have some fabulous estate communities including Hampton Island and Yellow Bluff.  Additionally, there are several churches, schools, recreational and entertainment opportunities that make Liberty County a wonderful place to live.  All of our communities join together offering their unique aspects that easily fit into the patchwork that is Liberty County making a fascinating portrait of the old South and the new, of comforting tradition and of well-planned progress.   Come for a visit and stay for a lifetime – we’d love to have you.
