Liberty County is comprised of eight distinct towns – Allenhurst, Flemington, Gum Branch, Hinesville, Midway, Riceboro, Sunbury and Walthourville. Hinesville, the county seat, is one of the fastest growing cities in southeast Georgia. Called a “trendsetter city by Georgia Trend Magazine, Hinesville is a desirable as a place to live, work and play. It’s a city full of friendly people, and because of its location near Fort Stewart, it is culturally and ethnically diverse. Due to growth of Fort Stewart, Liberty County is in the process of an incredible transformation and is fast becoming a “big, little town.” There are several real estate developments and communities offering fine living at affordable prices. We also have some fabulous estate communities including Hampton Island and Yellow Bluff.
